How it works
A mobile phlebotomist draws your blood at your home, office or another location you choose within our service area, or at our Houston office by appointment. Mobile collection depends on ZIP-code coverage and appointment availability. Confirm your collection location with the care team before booking. Clinical visits take place by video; an arranged office draw is not an in-person clinician visit.
Before your mobile blood draw
Tell the team the ZIP code for your preferred appointment location (home, office or another location you choose), your availability and any collection concerns. Ask for preparation instructions specific to the tests ordered, including whether fasting is required. Do not change medicines or supplements based on this page; discuss them with your clinician.
Collection is one part of care. Your assessment includes a results review with your NP after clinical review. The team explains any repeat testing or follow-up that may be needed.

Where mobile collection is available
Mobile blood collection is arranged across greater Houston through a partner phlebotomy network, where your ZIP code is covered. A home, office or other location you choose works when coverage and scheduling allow, or you can book a draw at our Houston office by appointment.
Clinical visits are by video anywhere in Texas, so you do not need to live near Houston to receive care. If mobile collection is not available at your address, the team explains the options for your location before you book.
What the Focused Assessment tests
Your clinician orders these Labcorp tests for the Focused Assessment:

Labcorp runs these tests. Your clinician may add or remove tests based on your history.
On the day of your draw
- Follow the preparation instructions for your ordered tests, including whether to fast.
- Keep a list of your current medicines and supplements ready for your clinician.
- Do not stop or change a medicine to prepare for a draw unless your clinician tells you to.
- Choose a quiet, well-lit spot with a table and a chair. A draw usually takes a few minutes.
After the draw
Labcorp processes your samples. Results are typically available within 5 to 7 business days after collection, although timing can vary with the tests ordered.
Your video results review is arranged once all results are complete. Your clinician explains what the findings mean alongside your symptoms and history, and gives you written next steps.
