Meet Our Clinical Team

Real practitioners. Real medicine. 1836 Wellness is built around real medicine, real practitioners, and a Texas-compliant clinical structure. Here's who you'll be working with.

Stacy Pleasant, MSN, FNP-C, APRN — Lead Clinician

Stacy Pleasant is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of advanced practice experience in emergency medicine, hospital medicine, telehealth, and wellness care. At 1836 Wellness she specializes in metabolic health, medical weight management, hormone optimization, and cellular wellness, with extensive experience managing GLP-1 therapies, hormone replacement therapy, and testosterone replacement therapy. She partners with each patient to develop a personalized wellness plan designed to enhance energy, improve body composition, and support long-term vitality. Stacy earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Colorado–Colorado Springs and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Colorado State University–Pueblo.

Physician Supervision — Hodor Independent Medical Consulting

Our clinic operates under the supervision of Hodor Independent Medical Consulting, an experienced team of physicians and nurse practitioners providing medical oversight, clinical guidance, and patient safety support. Every clinical decision at 1836 Wellness is reviewed under the prescriptive authority framework and protocol sign-off required under Texas Occupations Code Chapter 157, which governs physician delegation to advanced practice providers.

The 1836 Wellness Clinical Structure

Texas has one of the strictest corporate-practice-of-medicine doctrines in the country, so a non-physician can't directly own or operate a medical practice. When you become a member of 1836 Wellness, you're a patient of the clinical entity, your records are protected under HIPAA, and your protocols are designed and overseen by Texas-licensed clinicians — not a software algorithm and not a marketing brand.
